DailyFaceoff/Corsica NHL Bets (February 6th)

The Corsica NHL betting predictions enjoyed another perfect night on Tuesday. With 12 games to choose from, Corsica had no problem hitting on both of its high value and probability plays. With a likelihood of 76.69%, the Wild covering a +1.5-goal spread in Buffalo was Corsica’s most probable bet. The Wild failed to come out on top but were able to push the game into a shootout, securing the win against the spread. No bet was thought to offer more value than the under for the Jets and Sharks. Goaltending prevailed in this one as Martin Jones and Connor Hellebuyck turned in a pair of stellar performances. Joe Pavelski clinched the game in overtime with a short-handed tally, making the final 3-2 for San Jose.

Highest Probability and Highest Value

Senators @ Maple Leafs – Over/Under | Under 6.5 (+102)

It was bound to happen eventually. With just two games on the slate tonight, Corsica’s most probable and valuable bet is one in the same. Corsica doesn’t love the odds the Senators are getting as the dogs, and New York vs Boston projects to be a tight game at even strength. According to Corsica, the only bet worthy of your attention tonight is the under for the Leafs and Sens.

One-sided games tend to have a harder time reaching the over and that’s exactly what we should see here tonight. On paper, the Maple Leafs should dominate this game. The Senators’ top-nine surrenders scoring chances and shot attempts at an absurd rate. Their defensive inefficiencies should be exposed by the likes of John Tavares, Auston Matthews, and Mitch Marner tonight. Ottawa will have a hard time establishing offensive possession any time the Mark Stone line is not on the ice.

Frederik Andersen is in great form and shouldn’t be expected to surrender more than a couple of goals in this matchup. Asking the Senators to hold the Leafs to four goals or less is more than reasonable.

On top of all that, there shouldn’t be a whole lot of power-play opportunities for either side. The Maple Leafs have taken and drawn the fewest minor penalties in the NHL. The Senators aren’t far behind in either category, taking and drawing the sixth-fewest minors. The disciplined nature of these two teams should keep the goal scoring relatively low. Corsica gives this game a 63.57% chance of finishing with less than 6.5 goals.
