DailyFaceoff/Corsica NHL Bets (November 15th)

The Corsica NHL betting predictions had an interesting night on Wednesday, nailing its highest-value pick but missing on the highest-probability bet. Corsica pegged the Capitals and Jets hitting the under of six goals as the highest-value bet of the night. The Capitals’ power-play sputtered and a relatively slow place of play at 5v5 resulted in this game never even coming close to hitting the over. Kyle Connor tacked on an empty-netter to make the final score 3-1 for the Jets. Corsica had a rare miss on the highest-probability pick, as the Bruins failed to cover +1.5-goals in Colorado. The Avs’ power-play was too much for the Bruins to handle, converting on three of their four chances. This post now sits at 27-14 (65.8%) on the season.

With nine games on tonight’s slate, there are a lot of spots to like. To help you narrow down your options, I’ve highlighted Corsica’s highest value and probability bets for tonight’s slate.

Highest Probability

Red Wings @ Senators – Spread | DET +1.5 (-264)

After giving the Red Wings a 75% chance of covering the spread against the Coyotes on Tuesday, Corsica is going back to that same well tonight. Detroit not only covered the spread but they embarrassed Arizona, defeating them by a score of 6-1. The first line has played a lot better of late and should dominate their match-up at even strength against the Chris Tierney line. Dylan Larkin and Anthony Mantha should generate a ton of offense tonight, helping the Red Wings keep this one close, at the very least. Corsica gives the Red Wings a whopping 76.45% chance of covering a +1.5-goal spread tonight.

Highest Value

Red Wings @ Senators – Moneyline | DET (+105)

Corsica is all in on the Wings tonight. Since the predictions have the Wings covering a +1.5-goal spread as the safest bet of the night, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Detroit on the moneyline is the top value play on this slate. On top of everything mentioned above, Detroit has a distinct advantage in the goaltending match-up tonight. While Craig Anderson continues to struggle in goal, Jimmy Howard is off to a solid start this season, logging a 6-5-2 record and a .920 SV% in 13 appearances. He stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced against Arizona on Tuesday, earning his fifth-straight victory. The Senators are a terrible team at 5v5 and, aside from their top line, shouldn’t generate a lot of offense tonight. With a probability of 52.92%, this bet is a lot safer than most of Corsica’s high-value picks.
