DailyFaceoff/Corsica NHL Bets (November 26th)

The Corsica NHL betting predictions returns today after American Thanksgiving threw a wrench in the NHL schedule last week. This post summarizes Corsica’s daily NHL betting predictions that can be found right here on DailyFaceoff. I’ve highlighted the two bets that Corsica says offer the most certainty and value on tonight’s slate. If you’re interested in betting on some NHL action tonight but don’t know where to start, look no further. This post boasts a 30-17 record (63.8%) on the season.

Highest Value

Senators @ Rangers — Over/Under | Under 6.5 (-107)

Ottawa’s overperforming offense is most likely the reason why we see the over/under set as high as it is. Despite posting some abysmal possession and scoring chance rates at 5v5, the Senators have scored the fourth-most goals in the league this season. Their offensive surge is in large part thanks to having the league’s second-best shooting percentage at 5v5. This unsustainable formula is bound to cause regression in their offense sooner or later, and Corsica is putting their money on sooner. Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist is red-hot coming into tonight’s contest. The 36-year-old Swede has stopped 107 of the 113 shots he’s faced (.947 SV%) over his last three starts. Corsica gives the under a 63.31% chance of hitting tonight, making this bet reliable as it is valuable.

Highest Probability

Bruins @ Maple Leafs – Spread | BOS +1.5 (-199)

According to Corsica, at whopping 69.87%, the Bruins covering a +1.5-goal spread against the Maple Leafs is the most probable bet on tonight’s slate. Toronto’s high-octane offense will be challenged by the Bruins’ tonight. Boston’s second and third lines are tremendous at slowing down the pace of play at 5v5, limiting the shots and high-danger chances for both teams when they are on the ice. The thought is, if they can minimize the scoring chances when lines two through four are on the ice, their potent top-line can then carry them to victory. It’s a winning formula that’s worked consistently for them over the better part of three seasons now, though it’s obviously less effective without Patrice Bergeron in the lineup.

Still, the presence of Brad Marchand and noted Leaf-killer David Pastrnak should be enough for Boston to keep this game close, at the very least. Pastrnak scored three goals and added an assist when Boston bested the Maple Leafs by a score of 5-1 on November 10, the only time these two rivals have met this season.
