DFO GPP Targets (11/30)

Anze Kopitar ($6,900)

As a team the Kings are starting to slow down because of injuries but the one person on the team who is full steam ahead is Kopitar. He has already matched his goal total from last year with twelve and is averaging more than a point per game. This isn’t an excellent matchup for the Kings as the Caps have cleaned up some blue line issues earlier in the year but Kopitar is still a dynamic player and should be a bit contrarian in GPPs tonight.

Filip Forsberg ($7,000)

This is a fairly obvious play with Nashville playing at home against Vancouver but Forsberg will be a tough fade in GPPs. He has recorded at least one point in nine of his last 11 games and on the season is averaging more than a point per game. Seeing top line minutes, top power play minutes and in a matchup against the Canucks and their back up Anders Nilsson this is a great spot for Forsberg.

 Drew Doughty ($5,600)

Over Doughty’s past seven game he has one goal and six assist which is what you want to see from your top defensemen. In those seven games, he has had a floor of 2.5 DraftKings points and is still priced under $6000. Again this isn’t a excellent matchup for the Kings but a Kopitar Doughty mini stack does have a high ceiling and should be fairly low owned.

Charlie Coyle ($4,300)

Minnesota is in a very good spot tonight getting Vegas at home. Early in their inaugural season Vegas has struggled much more on the road and Coyle is centering the Wild’s third line so they will most certainly be seeing depth of the Knights. This will be his 6th game back since returning from injury and in the past two it really looks like he has gotten his legs under him. Coyle is centering Zucker so it isn’t even a stereotypical third line so at $4300 he is great value tonight.

Kevin Fiala ($4,200)

Even thought Fiala visited the donut shop on Tuesday this is even more reason to go back to him in GPPs tonight. Nashville’s second line is in a really good spot tonight and it may be a good opportunity to get exposure to Nashville at much lower ownership than the top line. Despite being blanked on Tuesday, Fiala has been productive of late with a DK floor of 1.5 and ceiling of 7.5 in his previous nine tilts. This is something you want to see from some priced barley above $4000. Fiala is also seeing time on power play two making his value even higher.

Matt Dumba ($3,400)

Dumba will be seeing his special teams duties, primarily the power play, increase with Jared Spurgeon out with an injury. He has already been seeing over 20 minutes per night which may even see a slight bump. This is a really good matchup for him as Vegas is still starting Malcom Subban who is their 3rd string goalie. At $3400 on DraftKings this is a really good value spot for him.
