DFO Stacks 12/15/17

Los Angeles
The Kings visit MSG tonight and the Rangers will still be without top center Mika Zibanejad. When he’s healthy he gets the top defensive assignments for the Rangers but with him out, the onus gets put on Kevin Hayes. That line doesn’t really incite fear defensively and the Rangers as a whole aren’t very good defensively. For that reason the top line of the Kings, Iafallo – Kopitar – Brown is the target. Kopitar is easily the Kings best player and wether I believe his linemates are any good is irrelevant in this matchup. To make it a full stack I would use Drew Doughty or Jake Muzzin on the blue line.

New York
On the flip side of this game, Rangers coach AV made a subtle change to his third line which is very DFS friendly and will be a target tonight. The line of Zuccarello – Miller – Nash is a pretty fast and dynamic line that SHOULD(you never know with AV) avoid the Kopitar line for the Kings. If they do face a depth line for the Kings this becomes one of my favorite targets tonight. To make it a full stack I would use Brady Skjei on the blue line.

Detroit
The Red Wings will be get a Maple Leafs team on a back to back still without Auston Matthews. My assumption is the Larkin – Mantha – Tatar line will avoid the Kadri line making them the target for me tonight. Even though the Leafs have been playing a very slow pace recently I think the Wings will push the pace offensively and create a lot of offensive chances. On top of that, Freddie Andersen will not be in net tonight giving the Wings a definite boost. I am not high on any of the Red Wings blueliners but if push came to shove I would use Kronwall.
