Los Angeles 2

The Colorado Avalanche visit LA tonight and this is a really good matchup for the second line of the Kings. With Kopitar going against the MacKinnon line this will leave the line of Tanner Pearson – Adrian Kempe – Tyler Toffoli going against the JT Compher line. What really stands out in the matchup is that the Kempe line creates 13 HDSC/60 which is really good and the Compher line allows 14 HDSA/60. So these lines could be playing some high event hockey tonight. If you want to make it a full four man stack I would use Jake Muzzin or Alec Martinez on the blue line.

Colorado 2

On the flip side of this matchup while the Kempe line is very good offensively they are a bit shaky defensively. The line of Andrighetto – Compher – Wilson has a chance to be a very sneaky secondary line tonight, especially if you need the salary relief. This line has been very dynamic offensively creating 56(!)SCF/60 and 24 of them are high danger which is pretty incredible and the Kempe line allows 9 HDCA/60 so these lines will have some fireworks tonight while be hard matched all night. If you want to make it a four man stack Tyson Barrie would be the defenseman of choice.

Anaheim 2

Going into Long Island to face the Islanders is always a fun tilt and it generally leads to a decent offensive matchup as the Islanders aren’t very good defensively. The second line of the Ducks, Cogliano – Henrique – Silfverberg will most likely be on the ice most of the time against the Barzal line. While the Barzal line is fairly dynamic offensively they definitely lack defensively. They allow 26 SCA/60 with eight of them being high danger while the Henrique line creates 11 HDCF/60 which is advantage Ducks. If you want to make it a four man stack the defenseman of choice would be Cam Fowler.
