DFS Lines To Target: 11/12/19

It’s another busy Tuesday evening in the NHL with nine games on the slate. I’ve highlighted my top high-priced, mid-range, and value stack to help you out. Good luck!

High-Priced

Boston 1 – Brad Marchand ($7,700), Patrice Bergeron ($7,600), David Pastrnak ($8,300).

The Bruins elite trio of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak has a good matchup at home against the Panthers on Tuesday. Florida has been one of the league’s worst defensive teams this season and are allowing 3.35 goals per game. The “perfection” line has been in a mini-slump by their standards with only thee combined goals in three consecutive losses.

Boston’s top line has a 56.85 CF% together this season and will see a mix of Florida’s top two lines. While the Barkov line has been dominant at 5-on-5, the Panthers second line of Brett Connolly, Brian Boyle and Mike Hoffman is getting outchanced this season and will be significantly outmatched when up against Boston’s top line.

Medium-Priced

Colorado 1 – Matt Calvert ($3,700), Nathan MacKinnon ($8,000), Joonas Donskoi ($5,400)

This may be one of the lowest priced stacks you find Nathan MacKinnon in this season. With Mikko Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog out of the lineup, MacKinnon is lining up alongside Joonas Donskoi and Matt Calvert. Both players have been quite productive this season, with Donskoi recording eight goals and 11 points in 17 games and Calvert managing four goals and 10 points.

This line has good value because they’ll be going up against Winnipeg’s top line of Mark Scheifele, Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor. This line has a lackluster 43.94 CF% together this season, while MacKinnon and Donskoi have an impressive 52.83 CF% as a duo. Donskoi showed his scoring potential with a hat trick against Nashville, while MacKinnon is one of the most explosive players in the league. Both these players play on the first power-play unit and have the luxury of facing a Jets’ PK unit that is fourth-worst in the NHL (73%).

The Avalanche have managed 13 goals over their last two games despite missing two of their best offensive players due to injury. They should keep it rolling against the Jets with the top line leading the way.

Value Stack

Montreal 2 – Paul Bryon ($2,800) Max Domi ($6,500) Joel Armia ($5,300)

Montreal’s second line is priced nicely at home tonight against a Columbus team that has managed just one win in their past seven games and been outscored 26-14 in that span. The Blue Jackets are turning in net to Elvis Merzlikins, who was recently called up from the AHL. The Columbus netminder has struggled this season with a .882 save percentage and 3.91 GAA in four starts.

Domi and Armia have an impressive 53.68 CF% together this season and both play on the first power-play unit. At even-strength, they’ll be matched up against the Alexander Texier, Alex Wennberg and Cam Atkinson line. I like their chances of getting on the board in both situations considering this Wennberg and Atkinson has a 46.70 CF% together last season and Columbus currently has the seventh-worst penalty kill in the NHL (73%). Byron is one of the fastest skaters in the league and recently got his first of the season.
