Centres

Paul Stastny (VGK) – $3,600

Stastny missed a couple of games against the @Chicago Blackhawks but was in the lineup for Game 1 vs. the Canucks. He had a quiet night, posting 2.8 DraftKings Points (1 SOG, 1 BS) but is a high-upside value play on Tuesday. Stastny centres the Golden Knights’ second-line with @Jonathan Marchessault and @Reilly Smith on his wings. That trio is averaging 33.3 Scoring Chances For/60 in the playoffs, which is isn’t far from the type of production you’d get from VGK1, which is $3,800 more as a full-stack. If you are going to fade VGK1, Stastny is a good, cheap way to get exposure to them. He centres the top power-play unit with Stone, Pacioretty and Marchessault. Stastny comes into Tuesday, with one goal, one assist and 15 shots (2.1 per game) in seven playoff games.

Yanni Gourde (TBL) – $2,900

They may not get as much playing time but Tampa Bay’s third line has been efficient throughout the playoffs. They don’t draw a great matchup, going up against the @David Krejci line most of the night, but Gourde provides tremendous value. Since the start of the Columbus series, Gourde has two goals, one assist and 18 shots in six games–an average of 9.2 DraftKings Points per game. He doesn’t have a great floor but he’s had games where he hits the five-shot bonus while also picking up a point or two. That kind of production at $2,900 is GPP winning stuff.

Wingers

Alex Tuch (VGK) – $3,900

Tuch has been outstanding since the restart and is really the only skater on VGK3 worth rostering in DFS. In his last five games, Tuch has scored two goals with two assists while averaging 3.6 shots per game. He loves to shoot the puck, giving him an extremely stable floor with 15-to-20 DK Point upside at $3,900. The Canucks are going to have a difficult time slowing down the Golden Knights, placing Tuch among the best value plays on Tuesday.

Ondrej Kase (BOS) – $3,700

BOS2 has posted terrific underlying numbers throughout the postseason and the production is starting to catch up. Kase’s numbers don’t jump off of the page, having just three assists in his last six games, but he’s averaged 2.8 shots per game over that span. Playing on a line with Krejci will afford Kase plenty of playing time and his shot volume makes him a fairly safe value play.

Defensemen

Mikhail Sergachev (TBL) – $3,700

If you’ve been reading throughout the postseason, you’ve seen Sergachev’s name a lot. Sergachev continues to quarterback the Lightning’s top power-play but has very little production to show for it. Since the start of the playoffs, he has just one assist in nine games but is still hard to ignore at $3,700. He is averaging 2.1 shots and 1.8 blocked shots since the restart and continues to carry tremendous upside while he’s on PP1.

Brayden McNabb (VGK) – $2,900

Unlike Sergachev, McNabb doesn’t have the high offensive upside but he’s got a great floor for a $2,900 defenseman. McNabb is averaging 20:32 TOI/gm since the restart and is posting 1.2 shots and 2.6 blocked shots per game. Every night he has a chance to hit the blocked-shot bonus and with Vegas’ offence humming, he could pick up a random assist as well.
