CENTRES

SIDNEY CROSBY – vs. NYI ($9,200)

The Penguins need a win tonight so they can relax on Saturday. One way to relax people’s mind, body, and spirit is to get a massage treatment at greentoestucson.com. If this interests you, book an appointment at their site now. It has been a rough stretch for this team, but if they’re going to get the job done tonight, Crosby will have to lead the way. He has 12 points (5G / 7A) in his last 10 games and has five points (2G / 3A) in four games vs. the Islanders this season.

BRANDON DUBINSKY – vs. BUF ($6,400)

The Blue Jackets picked an odd time to start dominating the NHL but hey, it is good for us daily players. I leaned on the Blue Jackets on Tuesday vs. Toronto and boy did it pay off, so I’m going back to the well tonight. Dubinsky has three goals and six assists in his last six games.

RYAN STROME – @ PIT ($4,400)

It is hard to predict if anyone will rest for the Islanders after clinching last night, but if no one does, Strome makes an excellent option. He has been playing with John Tavares and has collected three goals and four assists in his last eight games. He has five points (2G / 3A) in five games against the Penguins this season.

ARTEM ANISIMOV – vs. BUF ($3,800)

Anisimov is playing with Dubinsky, so you can imagine how well he has been playing as well. He has a four-game point streak (1G / 3A) and two goals and six assists in his last 10 games. Great matchup, great salary, great option.

WINGERS

PATRIC HORNQVIST – vs. NYI ($7,600)

If Crosby is going to get it going tonight, Hornqvist will be the beneficiary. He has two goals, three assists and 24 shots on goal in six games since returning to the lineup. Like Crosby, he has played well against the Isles, positing  six points (3G / 3A) in three games against New York.

NICK FOLIGNO – vs. BUF ($7,200)

Foligno is the third member of that Columbus line and he has collected five goals and four assists in his last eight games. He has had a sensational season and it should continue tonight vs. the lowly Sabres.

BRIAN GIONTA – @ CBJ ($4,800)

With only two games tonight, there are not a ton of options, so why not go with a veteran who is red-hot. In his last eight games, Gionta has picked up five goals (12 on the season) and six assists.

DANIEL WINNIK – vs. NYI ($3,600)

Winnik isn’t super offensive, but he is cheap and he plays with Crosby. He is a playoff-type player and with tonight basically being a playoff game for the Pens, maybe he’ll get on the board.

DEFENSEMEN

NICK LEDDY – @ PIT ($4,000)

Ledd has five assists in his last four games and he anchors their top power-play unit. Be sure he is not resting before you pick him, but he is as strong of an option as you can find on this two-game night.

PAUL MARTIN – vs. NYI ($3,000)

With Kris Letang out, it is Martin who plays on the Penguins top-pair and top-power-play. He played nearly 30 minutes (29:33) on Tuesday and in a must-win game tonight, he should be able to rack-up a point or two.

RYAN MURRAY – vs. BUF ($2,600)

Because he has been injured virtually all season, Murray’s salary is nearly at the bottom. He has a ton of offensive ability and scored a goal in 18:53 TOI in his return to the lineup on Tuesday.

GOALIES

SERGEI BOBROVSKY – vs. BUF ($8,800) – CONFIRMED

Bobrovsky got back to his winning ways on Tuesday with a 35-save shutout. He comes into tonight with a 2.33 GAA and .932 SV% over the last month and draws the best matchup of any goalie tonight. He is the clear top-option.

MARC-ANDRE FLEURY – vs. NYI ($8,400) – CONFIRMED

Jaroslav Halak has the same salary as Bobrovsky, so you aren’t going to go with him, so if you need to save $400 then you can go with Fleury in a must-win matchup. Fleury has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.26 GAA and .904 SV% in three starts against the Islanders.
