NOTE: Top goalie plays will be updated later in the day when most goalies are confirmed!

CENTRES

John Tavares – @ CAR ($8,800)

Tavares has been on a torrid pace in the last few games, collecting three goals and two assists in his last two games. In those two games he has also fired 14 shots, so expect things to continue tonight in Carolina against weak Hurricanes team.

Anders Lee – @ CAR ($5,600)

Yep, Tavares has been hot, which means Lee has as well. He is enjoying his time on the top-line, having registered five goals and five assists (10 points) in his last eight games. He has also averaged 3.25 shots per game over that span.

Nick Bjugstad – @ TOR ($5,300)

The Panthers have not been scoring much lately, but when they have been scoring, it has been Bjugstad. He has four goals, two assists and 29 shots (4.14 S/PG) in his last seven games. Tonight he will face a struggling Leafs team who just lost their top D-man in a trade with Nashville.

Paul Stastny – vs. DAL ($4,900)

Stastny is expected to swap places with Jori Lehtera and skate between Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz. Stastny played very well on that line while Lehtera was sidelined. He has two goals and four assists in his last eight games.

Adam Henrique – vs. BUF ($3,800)

This is a pure matchup play and roster filler. Henrique has just one goal, one assist and 12 shots is his last seven games, but the matchup is great and he might be a good, cheap gamble.

WINGERS

Alex Ovechkin – @ PIT ($9,400)

Ovechkin has seven goals, five assists (12 points) and 40 shots in his last eight games. Those are pretty outrageous numbers and tonight he faces a Penguins team he has great numbers against in his career. In 37 career regular season games vs. the Pens, he has racked up 25 goals and 18 assists (43 points) while averaging 5.6 shots per game.

Vladimir Tarasenko – vs. DAL ($6,800)

We have seen Tarasenko’s salary drop below $7K, despite having five goals, two assists and 32 shots in his last eight games. Like I said, he has enjoyed success vs. the Stars, having recorded five goals and three assists in seven career games.

Josh Bailey – @ CAR ($4,500)

Like Lee, Bailey is having a good time playing with JT. In his last four games, Bailey has three goals, two assists and 10 shots. With a beauty matchup, I’m putting this whole line together, how about you?

Jimmy Hayes – @ TOR ($3,900)

Hayes is a beast at 6-foot-6, 221 lbs. and I like pairing him with Bjugstad against a weak Leafs blueline. Hayes has three goals and three assists in his last seven games.

Andre Burakovsky – @ PIT ($3,200)

Burakovsky had two goals on Sunday while playing on the Capitals top line with Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom. He will be back on that line tonight and is a great, cheap option.

DEFENSEMEN

Kris Letang – vs. WSH ($6,500)

Letang has one goal, six assists and 25 shots in his last eight games and will be key against the Capitals neutral zone trap tonight. Letang will be relied on to carry the puck a lot and should be able to keep up his great season.

Travis Hamonic – @ CAR ($4,400)

Hamonic has eight assists in his last eight games. Three of those assists have come on the PP and he has seen a considerable amount of power-play time in the last two weeks.

Morgan Rielly – vs. FLA ($4,300)

With Cody Franson now in Nashville, Rielly will likely take on a bigger role on the Leafs blue line. Rielly has been the lone bright spot for Toronto. He has three goals and two assists his last eight games.

Eric Gelinas – vs. BUF ($3,200)

Gelinas will be in the lineup for the third straight game after serving as a healthy scratch for six straight. He has an assist in their last game and when he is in the lineup, that bomb from the point always has a chance to go in.

GOALIES

Pekka Rinne – vs. SJ ($9,300)

Rinne has won four consecutive starts while posting a 1.48 GAA and .950 SV%. Tonight he will face a Sharks team who have lost six of their last eight games.

Cory Schneider – vs. BUF ($8,100)

On Saturday allowed more than two goals for the first time in nine games. He has a 1.74 GAA and .946 SV% SV% in the last month and has a great matchup tonight vs. the Sabres.

Roberto Luongo – @ TOR ($8,000)

Luongo has gone 2-1-2 with a 1.75 GAA and .938 SV% in his last five outings. And tonight he will face a Maple Leafs team who are blowing it up for Connor McDavid by the looks of things.
