CENTRES

DAVID BACKES – VS. CBJ ($6,100)

Backes has four goals and seven assists (11 points) in his last 10 games. Tonight the Blue Jackets come in hot, but played last night, so Curtis McElhinney could get the nod. Backes has 34 career points (16G / 18A) in his career against Columbus.

KYLE TURRIS – @ TOR ($6,000)

Turris has five goals and two assists in his last seven games and with James Reimer in net tonight in Toronto it is time to load up on the Senators. He will get former Maple Leaf Clarke MacArthur back on his wing tonight. Turris has three goals in three games against Toronto.

ERIC STAAL – VS. NJ ($5,900)

Staal made a statement with a goal and two assists on Thursday after having just one assist in his previous seven games. He doesn’t have a point against the Devils this season, but with Keith Kinkaid getting the start instead of Cory Schneider, he should be able to get his first tonight.

HENRIK SEDIN – VS. DAL ($4,900)

Sedin has picked up two goals and four assists in his last five games and catches a nice matchup tonight with the Stars in town on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Edmonton pushed four past Kari Lehtonen last night, so the Sedin’s should be able to do the same tonight.

MIKA ZIBANEJAD – @ TOR ($4,300)

Just keep loading up on those Senators. The Maple Leafs are as sexy of a matchup as there is right now. Zibanejad comes in with two goals and four assists in his last seven games; as well as a goal and assist in three games vs. Toronto.

WINGERS

ALEXANDER STEEN – VS. CBJ ($7,600)

Backes and Steen make for a great Blues stack the way they’re clicking right now. Steen comes in with five goals and three assists (8 points) in his last seven games.

GABRIEL LANDESKOG – VS. BUF ($7,100)

Landeskog has recorded 14 points (6G / 8A) in 11 games in March. He and Ryan O’Reilly have been carrying the Avalanche and make for excellent plays tonight against Anders Lindback and the Sabres.

DANIEL SEDIN – VS. DAL ($7,000)

Daniel has two goals, six assists (8 points) and 27 shots in his last six games. The Sedin’s are hot and with the Stars and their brutal defence in Vancouver tonight, look for it to continue.

RYAN O’REILLY – VS. BUF ($6,700)

Going back to February 14th, O’Reilly has only been held off of the scoresheet three times, recording four goals and 18 assists in 19 games. That is what you would classify as ON FIRE. With the Sabres in town, you know what to do.

MIKE HOFFMAN – @ TOR ($4,800)

Hoffman has two goals and two assists in his last three games and has registered three goals and one assist in three games against the Maple Leafs this season. The way Zibanejad is playing, this should be a good night for Hoffman.

DEFENSEMEN

ERIK KARLSSON – @ TOR ($8,500)

This is pretty obvious. Karlsson has three goals and six assists in his last eight games and he comes in with 15 career points (5G / 10A) in 22 games vs. better Maple Leaf team than he’ll face tonight.

TYSON BARRIE – VS. BUF ($4,500)

Barrie has assists in back-to-back games and four assists in his last six. He is the Avs biggest threat from the back-end and has a fantastic matchup vs. Buffalo.

YANNICK WEBER – VS. DAL ($3,700)

Weber has a four-game point streak coming into play tonight. He has three goals and two assists over that span and will once again have a huge hand in the Canucks power-play tonight vs. Dallas.

GOALIES

CAREY PRICE – VS. FLA ($9,600) CONFIRMED

Price comes into play on Saturday having gone 4-4-2 with a 1.90 GAA and .941 SV% in his last 10 starts. Tonight he will face a Panthers team who are 3-3-0 while averaging 2.33 goals per game in his last six games.

SEMYON VARLAMOV – VS. BUF ($7,700) CONFIRMED

Varlamov was pulled in his last start, but he is still 6-1-1 record, 1.97 GAA and .939 SV% in March. He has been playing very well aside from Wednesday and this matchup is as close to a guaranteed win as you will find.

CAM WARD – VS. NJ ($6,900) CONFIRMED

Ward had a great return to the crease vs. the Penguins on Thursday. He has a great matchup with the Devils in town and has gone 12-8-4 with a 1.93 GAA and .923 SV% at home this season.
