Below I’ve listed my top DFS plays at each position as well as my ideal DraftKings lineup for tonight.

Centres

Tyler Seguin – @ CAR – ($8,700)

This is simple, Seguin and Benn are on fire right now. Seguin is coming off of a hat trick vs. the Bruins and has eight goals and 12 assists (20 points) in 13 games this season. Tonight, they’re on the road again, but the Stars face Eddie Lack, who has struggled this season and his career numbers vs. Dallas are not good. If you’re going to spend the money, spend it on the Stars.

Henrik Zetterberg – @ TOR – ($6,900)

The Red Wings’ top line of Abdelkader-Zetterberg-Larkin is still intact and they dominated the Maple Leafs in the season opener. Zetterberg himself had three assists. I pushed the Red Wings in the opener and I will do so again tonight.

Dylan Larkin – @ TOR – ($4,300)

In his first career game, Larkin had one goal and one assist vs. the Maple Leafs. This line has played well all season long and Larkin has nine points (4G /5A) in 12 games. Look for this line to play well vs. the Maple Leafs once again.

Value Options: JT Miller – @ COL – $3,300 / Leon Draisaitl – vs. PIT – ($2,800)

Wingers

Jamie Benn – @ CAR – ($8,000)

When Seguin goes, Benn goes as well. He has 20 points (10G / 10A) as well and comes in with four goals and six assists in his last six games. The Stars stack should be a strong play again tonight.

Taylor Hall – vs. PIT – ($6,700)

Connor McDavid may be out, but Hall has shown great chemistry with Draisaitl and they will get Jordan Eberle on their wing tonight. Hall is playing the best hockey of his career right now and enters play with four goals and eight assists in his last six games.

Justin Abdelkader – @ TOR – ($4,700)

Abdelkader has been ice cold since scoring four goals and one assist in his first two games of the season. However, he had a hat trick in the season opener vs. the Maple Leafs, so there is hope for this reasonably cheap winger.

Value Options: Teuvo Teravainen – @ NJ – ($4,000) / Matt Hendricks – vs. PIT – ($2,700)

Defensemen

John Klingberg – @ CAR – $5,200

Klingberg is tied for the NHL lead among defensemen with 13 points (2G / 11A) in 13 games. He is one of the best blueline options in the NHL and he comes in as the fifth most expensive option.

Brent Seabrook – @ NJD – $5,200

Seabrook is killing it with Duncan Keith out of the lineup, having posted 11 points (4G / 7A) in 13 games. He anchors the top power-play unit and with a tonne of weapons around him, Seabrook is a solid blueline choice.

Kevin Klein – @ COL – $3,200

Klein has been given power-play time recently and he’s made the best of it. He is coming off of one goal and one assist in his last game and his new found role could provide some fantasy points vs. an Avalanche team who gives up a lot of offence.

Goaltenders

Corey Crawford – @ NJD – $7,800

New Jersey comes in with the 25th ranked offence, averaging 2.25 goals per game. Crawford draws a great matchup and comes in looking for redemption after a rough outing vs. St. Louis on Wednesday. Crawford has a 2.20 GAA and .924 SV%.

Petr Mrazek – @ TOR – $7,000

The Red Wings are a much stronger team than the Maple Leafs and Mrazek comes in with a strong 2.67 GAA and .921 SV%. Detroit shut the Leafs out in their first meeting, so look for Mrazek to have a good night.

Frederik Andersen – vs. CBJ – $7,000

Andersen has played well all season long, but the Ducks lack of offence had him winless. Now, he has won his last two starts and the Ducks appear to be turning a corner. Andersen should be a great option vs. an OK Blue Jackets team.
