UPDATE 11/6/11: Keith will not play tonight, missing his third consecutive game. If you own him, bench him.

In the meantime, the Blackhawks have used Brent Seabrook on the top power play unit while Nick Leddy and Steve Montador man the second unit. Montador may be worth a short-term look if he can show some offensive flair. For the team’s full lines, click here.

UPDATE 10/31/11: Chicago Blackhawks alternate captain Duncan Keith left tonight’s game with an “upper-body” injury and would not return. The infliction is believed to be a finger-related injury after blocking a shot in the second period. After the game, coach Joel Quenneville would inform the media that their star defenseman is day-to-day.

The 28-year-old was on average a sixth round pick in standard Yahoo! fantasy hockey leagues. Although he only posted six assists over his first 11 games, his production likely would be something difficult to replace. Stay tuned for a future update on the former James Norris Memorial Trophy winner.
