Voracek Returns from Suspension

Jakub Voracek will return to the Flyers lineup for tonight’s game against the Maple Leafs. Voracek received a two-game suspension for his hit on Islanders’ defenseman Johnny Boychuk last Saturday. Voracek will presumably return to his spot on Philly’s top line alongside Sean Couturier and Oskar Lindblom, but the Flyers played last night so they did not have a morning skate today. As a result, confirmation on Voracek’s spot in the lineup likely won’t come until warmups at 6:30 PM EST. While you won’t find Voracek or Couturier on the wire, Lindblom is still available in 96% of leagues. He makes for an excellent spot start tonight against a poor defensive team in the Maple Leafs. Philly also plays on Pittsburgh on Sunday, so you can get an extra two games out of Lindblom this weekend.

Ferland Back in the Hurricanes Lineup

Micheal Ferland is expected to return to Hurricanes tonight after sitting out the last two games with an upper-body injury. He’s projected to play with Lucas Wallmark and Jordan Martinook on the third line. The three of them form an effective checking line but offer little offensive upside. His return is a nice boost for Carolina, but Ferland’s only worth owning in banger leagues right now. He could be worth a flier in standard leagues if he moves back into the top-six. Ferland has 17 goals, 18 assists and 147 hits in 58 games this season.

Jenner Bumped to Top PP

Boone Jenner will skate with Columbus’ top power-play unit tonight after logging a hat-trick against Boston on Tuesday. Jenner’s heavy usage has helped him stay on the cusp of fantasy relevance. He kills penalties, sees a ton of minutes at even strength, and will now play the net-front presence on the first power-play unit. His 5v5 linemates (Riley Nash and Nick Foligno) ultimately limit his offensive upside, but Jenner can provide help in banger leagues. His ownership currently sits at 28%. The 25-year-old is up to 15 goals and 19 assists in 65 games this season.

Bishop Leaves Thursday’s Game with Injury

Ben Bishop is day-to-day with a lower-body injury that forced him to exit Thursday’s game in Minnesota. Bishop did keep his shutout streak alive, stopping all seven shots he faced, and was credited with the win. Anton Khudobin will likely get the start tonight against the Golden Knights on the tail-end of the back-to-back. Bishop owners will want to rush to the wire to add Khudobin incase this injury lingers. Khudobin is available in 78% of leagues and would be a high-end No.2 fantasy netminder if Bishop misses an extended amount of time.
