The Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs signed the dotted line on a trade to flip two young players.

The Panthers will receive 24-year-old forward Mason Marchment from the Leafs, while Toronto will get 23-year-old Denis Malgin.

Malgin has notched four goals and another 12 assists in 36 games with the Panthers and is set to be an RFA at the end of the season. A 2015 fourth-round draft pick, Malgin has scored 60 points in 184 NHL games.

In Marchment, the Panthers get a player the Leafs have been brewing with their AHL affiliate for nearly four seasons. Marchment has put up 70 points in 124 games for the Toronto Marlies, and has appeared in his first NHL action this year scoring one assists in four games.
