Update 11/6/10 6:30 PM – After missing last night’s game against the Buffalo Sabres due to an illness, Plelanec will play against the Ottawa Senators. Lars Eller will be a healthy scratch.  Here are the updated lines.

Update 11/5/10 7:44 PMRenaud Lavoie reports that Plekanec will miss tonight’s game.  He was questionable and after warmups, it was deemed he would not be able to play.  Click here for the updated lines.

The Montreal Canadians could be without one of their leading scorers for tonight’s game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Tomas Plekanec arrived for the gameday skate this morning, but was unable to participate due to an illness.

Plekanec was slotted to play between wingers Mike Cammalleri and Lars Eller tonight, but with the recent news, Travis Moen was moved up to the top line for this morning’s practice.
