Henrik Sedin Expected to Gut Through Ankle Injury

Henrik Sedin is one durable hockey player.

On Tuesday, he took a slapper off the ankle from Nashville Predators d-man Kevin Klein. Despite leaving the ice with assistance, the former Art Ross winner came back on the ice and finished with over 18 minutes of ice time. He also registered two assists on the night, not missing a beat.

However, he would sit out of Wednesday’s practice. In addition, he was spotted with a boot on his injured ankle which caused the understandable frenzy in Vancouver. Nevertheless, it turns out the MRI came back negative and Sedin will play tonight.

According to Jason Botchford of The Province, via Twitter, Sedin will give it a go tonight as the injury simply cannot get any worse. So feel free to keep him in your lineup, fantasy hockey owners.
