Hedberg has now lost all six starts he's made since Martin Broduer got hurt while posting a 3.79 GAA and .838 SV%. He was pulled halfway through the second period last night against Tampa Bay after allowing three goals on 11 shots. He will start again tomorrow against the Buffalo Sabres who sit 13th in the Eastern Conference.

Blues GM Doug Armstrong did not confirm that Allen would start Thursday when the Blues travel to play Phoenix, saying, “Ken (Hitchcock) makes the lineup card, but I wanted to give him that opportunity. I just felt that when (Tuesday’s) game ended, we needed to look back on when we were having our most success, and what were some of the components, and Jake was one of those components. We think Jake has proven to be able to play at a high level over a short period of time.”

Kotsopoulos' career high is 22 points, so he is not fantasy relevant.

Hamrlik has only appeared in four games this season, recording one assist. The Rangers defenceman Marc Staal took a puck in the eye last night and his status remains up-in-the-air, so this Hamrlik move might just be precautionary.
Wellwood was called up yesterday but has already been sent down today. He will return to the AHL where he has 12 points in 43 games.
Bartley, 24, leads Milwaukee defensemen and is ranked among the AHL’s Top 20 defensemen in points with 26 (7g-19a) in 54 games.

This will be the 11th straight game that Frattin has missed with his knee injury. The Maple Leafs were hoping to have Frattin back this week, but it looks like he will be back for the weekend at best.

It is unknown if Frazee will get any starts. He is 7-9-4 with a 2.33 GAA and .920 SV% in Albany this season.
Kinkaid didn't get a start during his call-up but he did replace Johan Hedberg yesterday and allowed one goal on 13 shots. The Devils are probably sending him down and bringing Frazee just so that Kinkaid can get some starts, because he wasn't getting them in the NHL.

Janssen is not fantasy relevant.
Reimer has won each of his first two starts since returning from his knee injury. His numbers haven't been great in those two wins (2.97 GAA and .895 SV%) but he has given the Maple Leafs a chance to win. He is clearly the #1 netminder in Toronto and is a solid #2 fantasy option going forward.

This is shocking after Hedberg has lost his last six appearances and let in some soft goals last night. However Devils coach Peter DeBoer says "Hedberg has unfairly taken the blame for recent losses". The 39 year-old netminder will be in tough again tonight against Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.
Bernier has been lights out this season so he deserves to start. In his last five starts he has won all five with a 1.00 GAA and .956 SV%. Quick has also played well but the Kings are going to ride the hot hand of Bernier. He only saw 19 shots last night vs. Nashville so he should be fresh tonight against the Blues.

Keith Ballard will play tonight in Bieksa's absence. Bieksa has five goals and one assist on the season. Monitor his status for Vancouver's games later in the week.

Kiprusoff hasn't played in a month but it looks like he will return to the lineup tomorrow. He was 2-3-2 with a 3.24 GAA and .870 SV% before getting hurt. Kipper is only owned in 24.0% of ESPN leagues, he could make for a good pickup for teams that are dealing with goalie injuries.
NIemi stopped 18 of 19 shots that he faced in a 2-1 win over Nashville on Saturday. He will be back between the pipes tonight when San Jose faces Vancouver. It is a tough matchup on paper but the Canucks have lost three of their last four games. Niemi has outstanding numbers (1.83 GAA and .934 SV%) so he remains a great fantasy option

Halak has won two of his four starts with a 1.76 GAA and .913 SV% since returning from injury. He will be between the pipes tonight against a good Kings. The Blues are banged up right now and they aren't the same team they were at the start of the season. Halak is still a good fantasy play regardless of matchup.

Bernier has been lights out this season so he deserves to start. In his last five starts he has won all five with a 1.00 GAA and .956 SV%. Quick has also played well but it looks like the Kings are going to ride the hot hand of Bernier. He only saw 19 shots last night vs. Nashville so he should be fresh tonight against the Blues.

Hejduk has only three goals and six assists this season. He is only fantasy relevant in the deepest of leagues at best.
Richards was hurt when he was hit from behind by Patrick Kaleta on Sunday. Kaleta was suspended five games for the hit. it would be fair to infer that Richards will be a game-time decision, at best.
