DeSmith will start Game 3 in Nashville on Friday.

Thatcher Demko will remain out of the lineup for at least one more game and as a result, the Canucks will turn to DeSmith between the pipes again in game three. DeSmith struggled in game two, his series debut, allowing three goals on 15 shots (.800 SV%), in a 4-1 loss to the Nashville Predators, evening the series at 1-1. The Canucks enter action as +101 road underdogs on Friday.

Swayman will start Game 3 in Toronto on Wednesday.

After losing game two with Linus Ullmark between the pipes, the Bruins will rotate back to Swayman, their Game 1 starter, in Game 3 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Swayman was stellar in a 5-1 victory in game one, saving 35 of 36 shots (.972 SV%) in the contest. The Bruins enter action on Wednesday as slight -103 road underdogs.

Nylander (undisclosed) is not on the ice for warmups and will not play in Game 3 against the Bruins on Wednesday.

After playing all 82 games this season, Nylander will now miss the first three games of the playoffs due to an undisclosed injury. Nylander had another terrific season with the Maple Leafs, scoring 98 points (40G / 58A). He will now have another three days to recover and potentially make his playoff debut as Game 4 is not scheduled to take place until Saturday night.

Wagner has cleared waivers and been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) on Wednesday.

Wagner was placed on waivers on Tuesday in hopes that he clears and can help the Colorado Eagles (AHL) during their playoff push. The 32-year-old appeared in 13 games for the Avalanche this season, scoring a goal, two points, 16 SOG, nine PIMs and a +3 plus/minus.

Prosvetov has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) on Wednesday.

Prosvetov served as the backup to Alexandar Georgiev in game two but has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL), an indication that Justus Annunen (illness) is likely ready to return to the lineup. Prosvetov spent some time with the Avalanche this season but spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL, posting a solid 2.33 GAA and .921 SV% in 21 games (11-7-2).

Talbot will start Game 2 on Wednesday in Edmonton.

The Kings will return to Talbot for a second straight game on Wednesday despite struggling in their game-one loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers jumped out to a 4-0 lead less than halfway through game one en route to an eventual 7-4 victory where Talbot allowed six goals on 44 shots (.864 SV%). The Kings enter game two as +163 road underdogs.

After an impressive 7-4 victory in game one against the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers will return to Skinner between the pipes in game two.
