It was a rough night in the NHL with plenty of injuries.  Be sure to check the Team Lineups page for updates as they become available

David Booth – Booth got absolutely creamed by Mike Richards while admiring a pass at the blue line.  It was a dirty hit and Booth will be kept overnight at the hospital for observation.  They havn’t diagnosed a concussion yet but it seems inevitable. He is off to a terrible start and this won’t help. Kukla’s Corner

Radek Dvorak – Dvorak also left this game with an injury after a knee to knee hit.  He will miss a month of action.

Ilya Kovalchuk – Left the game after taking a shot off the top of his skate, although PJ Stock from CBC reports that it also looks like he tweaked his knee or ankle on a play in the corner. This is the big possible injury of the evening and we will report more once the information becomes available. The Thrashers said they will know more on Monday.  Roto World

Devin Setoguchi – Left the game early with an undisclosed lower body injury but CBC reported that he left the arena under his own power.

Paul Martin – Martin has reportedly broken his left arm.  This is a big hit for New Jersey, and possibly your fantasy team as Martin can be a reliable fourth defenceman. NJ.com

Jay Pandolfo – No fantasy implications here but Pandolfo separated his right shouler after being hit from behind by former Devil Mike Rupp. NJ.com

Carlo Colaiacavo – Left the game with an undisclosed injury after a questionable hit from Steve Ott. HockeyBuzz

DJ King – King has reportedly broke his hand in a first period fight with Krys Brach. HockeyBuzz
