Last night, San Jose Sharks All-Star center Logan Couture left the game with a lower-body injury. The 22-year-old was limited to a little over 12 minutes of ice time. And while we are unsure of the injury’s extent, <a href="http://www.mercurynews.com/rss/ci_20050894?source=rss" target="_blank">David Pollak of the Mercury News</a> reported he absorbed at least three hard hits.
Losing Couture for a significant amount of time would be a big blow to the flailing Sharks. He currently leads the team in scoring with 27 goals and 52 points.
