Penguins’ Chances Look Good

Malkin3

Just a quick one tonight.  Reports keep coming out about unrest in the Flyers’ dressing room between Scott Hartnell and Jeff Carter and the team being divided as a result.  Any locker room discrepancies are good news for the visiting Penguins as they look to extend their 3-game win streak.

Pittsburgh has won 3 straight including a 6-1 shellacking of the Flyers on Tuesday.  Marc-Andre Fleury posted another stellar start, turning away 26 Flyers shots as the Penguins looked as composed as they had been since their home loss to Carolina.

Brian Boucher showed more inconsistency and the team didn’t help him out much, allowing 35 shots against him.  Philly has been in a  tailspin since  losing their starting goalie to injury and the firing of their coach and as a result, have only won 3 of their last 14 games.

Pick: Penguins -110

This line amazingly hasn’t moved at all despite Pittsburgh getting 79% of the money line play.
