Luke Schenn will re-enter the Predators lineup on Tuesday in favour of Tyson Barrie, who will be a healthy scratch for the fourth time in the last seven games. Schenn has zero points in nine games this season but continues to play his hard-nosed brand of hockey, tallying 30 hits and 11 blocks while averaging 14:29 time-on-ice.

Schenn's status has been up in the air after sitting out the last three games but is now been confirmed to miss the next four to six weeks with a lower-body injury. He recorded one block and four hits in 15:11 time-on-ice in his only game this season. Last season, Schenn had a league-leading 318 hits along with 22 points (4G / 18A) in 70 games. Dante Fabbro has, and will likely continue, to fill in on the back end in his absence.

Schenn presumably picked up the injury at some point during Tuesday night's opening affair with the Lightning, though there was no mention or report of an injury prior to warmups for Thursday's game against the Blues. The 33-year-old blue-liner rarely contributes offensively, but his absence will be felt in fantasy formats that reward blocked shots and hits. Dante Fabbro will slide into the lineup in place of Schenn.

The Predators are trying to change their culture, and Schenn's work ethic will help do that. The veteran defenseman had 22 points (4G / 18A) and 318 hits in seven games with the Canucks and Maple Leafs last season.

Schenn has yet to pick up a point through 10 games with the Maple Leafs since being traded for at the Trade Deadline and will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Columbus. The 33-year-old has three goals and 21 points across 65 games played between Toronto and Vancouver this season.

Schenn was traded to the Maple Leafs at the trade deadline but returned to Vancouver not too long after for the birth of his child. He will make his Toronto season debut Friday as the Maple Leafs take on Carolina and will hoping to add to his three goals, 21 points and +9 plus/minus through 57 games this season.

Schenn has missed the Maple Leafs' previous two games due to the birth of his child but is returning to Toronto Monday afternoon but is still expected to miss Monday's game vs. Buffalo. The 33-year-old bruising defenseman has three goals, 18 assists, 70 SOG, 71 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus through 57 games played between Vancouver and Toronto this season.

Schenn has three goals, 15 assists, 67 SOG, 69 PIMs and is a +8 plus/minus through 51 games this season but will be a game-time decision as the Canucks take on the Islanders as he deals with an undisclosed injury.
