Paul Ranger News

Ranger (neck) did not skate on Friday.

Ranger has a stiff neck, but no concussion concerns according to head coach Carlyle. That is great news for Ranger after a scary collision on Wednesday. He likely won't be in the lineup during this weekend's back-to-back set, but should not be out of the lineup for long.

Ranger was discharged from hospital last night after a scary hit-from-behind incident in the loss to the Lightning.

Ranger was crunched from behind by Lightning forward Alex Kilorn on Wednesday night. Ranger had to be stretchered off of the ice, but was alert and discharged from the hospital. He is still likely dealing with concussion-like symptoms, but it is great news that he avoided a serious injury.
