Sheary is expected to be a healthy scratch on Wednesday vs. Boston.

Sheary finds himself the odd man out of Tampa Bay's lineup on Wednesday vs. Boston due to Brayden Point returning from a lower-body injury. Sheary has struggled in a reduced role in his first season in Tampa Bay, with only three goals, 13 points, 44 SOG and 12 PIMs in 52 games played in 2023-24.

Sheary (illness) is questionable to play Saturday.

The Capitals have a bit of a bug going around right now and Sheary is the latest player to deal with it. He was not on the ice for Friday's practice and is questionable to play Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh. Garnet Hathaway returned from an illness on Friday to skate in Sheary's spot on the top line.
