The Flyers will buyout the final year of R.J Umberger’s contract.
The Flyers placed Umberger on unconditional waivers last week for the purpose of buying out the final year of his deal. The 34-year-old had two terrible seasons with Philadelphia, picking up just 11 goals and 15 assists (26 points) in 106 games.
Umberger will be in the Flyers' lineup on Thursday.
