Markov skated with Alexei Emelin this morning and took some reps on the power play. He remains probable for Wednesday's game and likely returns over the next week.

No surprise Markov remains out despite being cleared for contact. An early December comeback sounds more attainable at this point.

Assuming all goes well, Markov may play a game for the Habs in November. His last NHL game came on November 13th so expect some rust once he does in fact return to the lineup.

If defenceman Andrei Markov meets team doctors today to get a progress report on the health of his rebuilt right knee, don’t hold your breath awaiting an update from the team. We’re bound to hear Markov is progressing on schedule and will be introduced to the lineup when he’s ready.
