The Red Wings have recalled Danny O'Regan from Grand Rapids (AHL) under emergency conditions.

O'Regan had 17 goals, 31 assists, 16 PIMs and a -21 plus/minus in 64 games between Grand Rapids (AHL) and San Diego (AHL) but has been recalled to Detroit under emergency conditions Tuesday. The 29-year-old centre has previously played in 30 NHL games before this season, picking up a goal and five assists.

Daniel O'Regan has been traded to Detroit as part of a three-way deal.

O'Regan had been playing in San Diego (AHL) prior to being dealt Monday to the Detroit Red Wings and had three goals, 15 assists and a -11 plus/minus through 27 games with the Gulls. He was a part of a three-way deal which saw Michael Del Zotto head to Anaheim and Givani Smith go to Florida.

The Ducks have recalled Danny O'Regan from San Diego (AHL).

The Ducks will be without Ryan Getzlaf, Isac Lundestrom and Jakob Silfverberg on Thursday, so O'Regan, Vinni Lettieri and Buddy Robinson were called up from the AHL. O'Regan has played in just one game with the Ducks this season, spending most of the year in San Diego, where he has 11 goals and 15 assists (26 points) in 37 games.

O’Regan was recalled on Friday and will make his season debut on Saturday.

O’Regan has scored 18 goals with 16 assists (34 points) in 53 games with Rochester (AHL) this season. He will make his season debut after playing just two games with the Sabres last season and recording five points (1G / 4A) in 24 career NHL games overall.

The Sabres have acquired Danny O’Regan, a conditional 2019 1st round pick and a conditional 2020 4th round pick from the Sharks for Evander Kane.

O’Regan, 24, was a fifth round pick (No.138 overall) in 2012 and has picked up just five points (1G / 4A) in 22 career NHL games. O’Regan has 25 points (7G / 18A) in 31 games with the Barracuda (AHL) this year. He was also a teammate of Jack Eichel and Evan Rodrigues at Boston University.

O’Regan will be a healthy scratch on Friday.

O’Regan has registered two assists in six games since being called up from San Jose (AHL), but will be a healthy scratch tonight in Florida. Ryan Carpenter will take O’Regan’s spot on the fourth line and Mikkel Boedker may see some PP time with O’Regan out.
