Lack will make his second straight start on Saturday.

Lack allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Hurricanes win in Calgary on Thursday. It was a much better performance than his season debut and earned him a second straight start. Tonight he faces a Philadelphia team that has lost three straight games but they’ve been averaging 3.25 goals per game so far this season.

Lack allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Hurricanes’ loss in Vancouver on Sunday. The Hurricanes were unable to hold onto a big lead for the second straight game and have yet to win this season. Tonight he will take on a Calgary team that has started 1-2-1 while scoring 3.00 goals per game.

Lack starts vs. his former team in Vancouver on Sunday.

Cam Ward started the Hurricanes’ season opener on Thursday, but they will turn to Lack in game No.2 in Vancouver. Lack spent the first two years of his career with the Canucks, so tonight will be a homecoming of sorts. He faced his former team once last year and allowed three goals on 21 shots in a losing effort.

Lack will start Saturday vs. the Islanders.

Lack allowed two goals on 44 shots in the Hurricanes win in Columbus on Thursday. It was an outstanding outing for Lack, who snapped a three-game losing streak in the process. He has a good matchup on home-ice vs. an Islanders team that has lost seven of nine—Lack is 4-5-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .907 SV% at PNC Arena this season.

Lack allowed four goals on 48 shots in the Hurricanes loss in Pittsburgh on March 17th. Cam Ward started the last two games but Lack will go tonight in Columbus. Lack has gone 1-1-2 with a 2.70 GAA and .921 SV% in March and tonight will mark his 28th start of the season. He will face a Blue Jackets team that has lost four of their last six.

Lack stopped 29 of 31 shots in the Hurricanes overtime loss in Washington on Tuesday. Lack has gone 7-6-4 with a 2.71 GAA and .902 SV% in 16 starts on the road this season Tonight he draws a rough matchup in his second start vs. the Penguins of the season—he was lit up for five goals on 32 shots in a 5-0 loss back in mid-January.
