Bischoff played in four of the last five games but gets sent back to Chicago which could mean one of two things. Either it’s just a paper move because the Golden Knights are off until Thursday. Or Nate Schmidt, who was a full participant in Monday’s practice is ready to take his spot in the lineup back.

Bischoff was called up just over a week ago and will replace fellow rookie Nic Hague in the lineup on Saturday. Bischoff has registered 11 goals and 28 assists (39 points) in 136 career AHL games.
Bischoff, 25, was a seventh-round pick in 2012 and has taken a long road to the NHL. He spent four years at the University of Minnesota and over 120 games in the AHL. The 6-foot-1, 194 lbs. defenseman had 13 points (2G / 11A) in 60 games with the Wolves last year.
Bischoff had two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 60 games with Chicago (AHL) last season. The 24-year-old doesn’t bring a lot of offence to the table but is sound in his own end but remains a bit of a stretch to play for Vegas in the near future.
Bischoff, 24, made the Golden Knights out of camp but did not appear in a game. He heads to the AHL, where he had 23 points (7G / 16A) in 69 games a season ago.
