The Bruins recalled Jordan Szwarz from Providence (AHL) and he's expected to play Sunday.

Szwarz has split his 2017-18 campaign between the NHL and AHL and has collected three assists in nine games with Boston. During his time with Providence, Szwarz has eight points (5G / 3A) in six contests. He is expected to take Peter Cehlarik’s (knee) spot in Sunday’s lineup.

The Bruins have recalled Jordan Szwarz from Providence (AHL).

Szwarz has recorded five goals and three assists (eight points) in six games with Providence this season. The 26-year-old has recorded just four goals in 35 career NHL games with the Coyotes. Szwarz joins the team after the Bruins announced that David Backes will miss two months.

The Coyotes recalled Jordan Szwarz from Portland (AHL) on Monday.

Szwarz has recorded two goals in 20 games with the Coyotes this season. While in the AHL, the 22-year-old has seven points (4G / 3A) in 12 games. He has been recalled to provide depth at forward fro the Coyotes, no word on if he will be in the lineup tonight.
