Michalek (finger) will make his Maple Leafs debut on Monday.

Michalek has broken two fingers this season, the second one has kept him sidelined since January 22nd. Tonight he will make his Maple Leafs debut vs. the Sabres. The 31-year-old has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 32 games this season.

The Maple Leafs have acquired Milan Michalek, Colin Greening, Jared Cowen, Tobias Lindberg and a 2017 2nd round pick from the Senators for Dion Phaneuf, Matt Frattin, Casey Bailey, Ryan Rupert and prospect Cody Donaghey.

Michalek is currently out with his second broken finger of the season and is not expected to be back until March. Michalek has one more year left before he becomes an unrestricted free agent. He has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 32 games this season.

Michalek suffered a broken finger in the Senators loss to the Islanders. Michalek already missed over one month with a fractured index finger, so this is nothing new for the veteran forward. Expect Michalek to miss multiple weeks once again.

Michalek has not played since December 1st because of a fractured index finger. Prior to getting hurt, Michalek collected eight points (5G / 3A) in 24 games. He will skate with Mika Zibanejad and Mike Hoffman.

Michalek is out indefinitely with a fractured index finger.

Michalek left Tuesday's game after being hit in the hand by a shot. The Senators revealed this morning that he sustained a fractured right index finger and will be sidelined indefinitely. Expect him to be placed on IR and for the Senators to recall a forward. This could also open the door for Colin Greening to make his season debut.

Michalek (undisclosed) took part in the morning skate; expected to play vs. Calgary.

Michalek left Tuesday’s practice after blocking a shot, but he was back on the ice for the morning skate and is expected to play tonight vs. the Flames. Michalek, who will skate with J.G Pageau and Alex Chiasson, has two goals and 19 shots in eight games.

Michalek missed the morning skate and will be held out of tonight’s game with a head injury that he suffered on Saturday. He is considered day-to-day. Colin Greening will enter the lineup for Michalek and Alex Chiasson will replace him on a line with Kyle Turris and Mark Stone.

The Senators have re-signed Milan Michalek to a three-year deal worth $12 million.

Michalek scored 17 goals with 22 assists (39 points) in 82 games in his fifth season with the Senators. Michalek is now signed through 2016-17, but lost his centre Jason Spezza this morning. The loss of Spezza could hurt Michalek's numbers in 2014-15.

Milan Michalek confirms he's ready to play tonight.

Michalek hasn't played since March 8th because of a knee injury. He was the Sens leading scorer with 35 goals last season but has only played in 15 games this season, recording just two goals. Michalek will provide a big lift to a team who is slowly dropping in the Eastern Conference.
