Glass has announced his retirement from the NHL.

Glass appeared in 527 career NHL games, scoring 23 goals with 45 assists (69 points) and 658 penalty minutes with the Panthers, Canucks, Jets, Penguins, Rangers and Flames. Glass played this past season in France but is set to return to North America where he will take a player development role with the Rangers.

The Flames have signed Tanner Glass to a one-year deal worth $650K.

Glass signs on with the Flames to be a depth forward after a solid training camp. The 33-year-old winger offers nothing in terms of fantasy value, having picked up just 69 points (24G / 45A) in 511 career NHL games.

The Rangers have recalled Tanner Glass from Hartford (AHL).

Glass, who has no points in two games with the Rangers this season will get back into the lineup tonight with Emerson Etem out with an illness. Glass has five points (2G / 3A) in 17 games with Hartford this season.
