PointsBet Daily Bets: Rangers/Avalanche Moneyline & Sidney Crosby assist prop

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Matt Larkin and Mike McKenna on Friday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment. 

Ten games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups between the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche, Washington Capitals and Seattle Kraken and Sidney Crosby’s Pittsburgh Penguins taking on Tage Thompson and the Buffalo Sabres. 

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s get into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with that matchup between the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche. The Rangers, are starting to play some good hockey, they beat the Vegas Golden Knights earlier this week and the Avs, as we talked about on yesterday’s show, are incredibly banged up. So, it makes sense that the Rangers are the favorites but I don’t think they’re favored enough and I really like them in this spot at -155 on the Moneyline. I like it, and I’m going to throw a half-unit sprinkle on that New York Rangers Puckline, it’s at +175, so it could be juicy! The Avs’ lost to the Flyers, they didn’t cover the Puckline on their last time out, I like the Rangers at -1.5 goals and on the Moneyline tonight.

Also, the Seattle Kraken, that line keeps shifting towards the Kraken, when I checked earlier today they were even money and now I love them at +125. They’re 8-1-1 on the road this year and while yes they maybe are starting to struggle a bit and come down to earth, I still think this is a good spot against a Capitals team that like the Avs’ is really banged up. Seattle is a great road team and anytime I can get them as road dogs I will take it. If you put just $100 on every Kraken road game this season, you’d be up $800, so I am getting in on that action. 

The player prop today, I am targeting Sidney Crosby. He’s -130 to pick up an assist and he’s nailed it in three of his last five and he’s +160 to go over 1.5 points. I am going with a full unit on a Crosby apple and a half unit on him to go over 3.5. So five plays tonight.
