PointsBet Daily Picks: Stamkos shot prop & Avs/Kraken Puckline

Tyler Yaremchuk: Tonight is a little quieter night in the NHL but I still dug up three plays that I liked, so let’s jump into them courtesy of our friend at PointsBet Canada.
Starting at the top there with the Lightning and Panthers. I debated and I’m still thinking about it but the Lightning on the Moneyline I don’t think is a terrible spot I’m actually playing it a little bit safer on this one in my opinion. I’m going with the Steven Stamkos shot prop. The line is set at 3.5, it’s paying +105, his shots so far this season, are 5-7-4-5. So, he’s hit this every game and three of the games very easily, so getting plus money on that Stamkos prop is a really good spot for me.
In this Detroit and Chicago matchup again I debated taking Detroit on the Moneyline but I’m chickening out a little bit, well not really because it’s a juicier bet. I’m going with Dylan Larkin to pick up an assist. He’s got three in three games so far, he’s hit it in two of the three games and it’s +130. I think the Red Wings will be able to score a lot against Petr Mrazek. He’s got a 3.50 goals-against average so Dylan Larkin assist at +130 is my play for that game.
In the Kraken and Avs game, I’m taking the Avs on the Puckline at -110. They’ve covered it once already on home ice this year, they’re coming off a loss on home ice though in OT to the Winnipeg Jets. I think this is a great bounce-back spot. The Avs should be hungry. The Kraken are not that good. I’ll take the better team on home ice to cover the Puckline at -110. So, it’s that, Larkin assist and Stamkos shot prop Frank, those are my three plays.
