UPDATED 10/27/10 @ 10:14 AM:  This tidbit comes from Kevin Allen of USA Today, via Twitter:

With injured Preds D Ryan Suter not practicing again Tuesday, we can surmise he won’t play Thursday vs. St. Louis or Saturday vs. Detroit.

So right now we are looking at a return date of at least next week.

Nashville Predators’ stalwart defenseman Ryan Suter has been placed on injured reserve.

According to Bryan Mullen of The Tennessean, Suter will miss at least three games and could be back for their game on October 28th– when they host the St. Louis Blues.  In his absence, Kevin Klein or Cody Franson seem like the front runners to play with Shea Weber.

Through his first five games, Suter has three assists and a plus 3 rating. He leaves a team currently tied with the Chicago Blackhawks for the lead in their division.

The Preds host the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow night, in their first test without one of their top minute-eaters.
