Anaheim Ducks

As our fearless leader wrote earlier, Teemu Selanne out several weeks with a broken jaw.

Thrashers

Boris Valabik in, Anssi Salmela and Mark Popovic healthy scratches.

Bruins

Mark Stuart aims for a Saturday return.  Dennis Wideman a gametime decision for tonight’s contest after suffering a leg injury blocking a shot.

Sabres

Patrick Kaleta ready to return to the lineup.  He replaces Matt Ellis.

Hurricanes

No lineup changes per Chip Alexander of The News Observer.

Blackhawks

Marian Hossa returns to the lineup.  Cam Barker remains out and will be replaced by Jordan Hendry once again.

Blue Jackets

Kris Russell and Derek Dorsett will return to the lineup tonight against the Blackhawks.

Stars

Jamie Benn may play first line center tonight against the Habs.  This game would mark the first time Benn played center at any level.

Red Wings

Jason Williams expects to return in two weeks.  Justin Abdelkader received stitches for a cut above his right eye caused by the blade of teammate Ville Leino.  Jonathan Ericsson returns to the lineup tonight.

Oilers

Nikolai Khabibulin officially out indefinitely.  At 37-years-old expecting a quick recovery would be foolish.

Panthers

Keaton Ellerby in for Bryan Allen, who takes off the second of back-to-back games.

Kings

No lineup changes announced.

Wild

Cal Clutterbuck and John Scott considered gametime decisions.

Canadiens

Sergei Kostitsyn making progress but still not expected to play yet.

Georges Laraque in for Ryan White

Devils

Andy Greene expected to play tonight after sitting out yesterday’s practice with a lower body injury.

Islanders

Josh Bailey skating on the top line with John Tavares and Kyle Okposo.

Rangers

Despite a bruised foot, Sean Avery suits up tonight.  Aaron Voros and Enver Lisin the healthy scratches.

Senators

Filip Kuba skating with the team.

Apparently Pascal Leclaire injured himself again and Brian Elliot out with some sort of flu.  Mike Brodeur could find himself in nets making Ottawa’s woes even worse.

Flyers

Ole-Kristian Tollefsen expected to return to the lineup.

Coyotes

No lineup changes announced.

Penguins

No lineup changes announced.

Sharks

No lineup changes announced.

Blues

Andy McDonald back in the lineup.  Cam Janssen likely the odd man out.

Dustin Tokarski called up to the team today to replace the ailing Mike Smith.  The team lists Smith as day-to-day.
