As Leafs coach Ron Wilson indicated last night in his post game press conference, Viktor Stalberg will be on the teams opening day roster. Tyler Bozak will be sent down before the regular season opener on Thursday against Montreal.  Stalberg has an outstanding preseason recording 6 goals and 3 assists in 8 games with a plus-1 ranking.  He has great speed and has been playing the wing on a line with Grabovski and Hagman.  Stalberg had 46 points in 39 games last season for the University of Vermont and was a NCAA First Team All-American

Wilson also mentioned that  Vesa Toskala will start in goal Thursday night despite his recent poor play and the great play of Jonas Gustavsson. Jason Allsion will be released
