Taormina & Langenbrunner expected out vs. Bruins

Matt Taormina and Jamie Langenbrunner will not play tonight when the New Jersey Devils face the Boston Bruins.

Taormina will be replaced by former first round pick Matthew Corrente.  Corrente had missed previous games with a fractured hand but draws back in with this opening.  Taormina had played significant time on the powerplay for the struggling Devils and has two goals and three assists with a minus-2 rating over 17 games. He will undergo an MRI for his ankle, which was injured during yesterday’s practice.

Langenbrunner will be missing his second game of the season and has already been replaced on his line by Alexander Vasyunov.  The captain did not travel with the team to Boston and will also undergo an MRI for his sore neck.
