WILMINGTON, Mass. --- David Krejci was ruled out for Wednesday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes after he suffered an undisclosed injury during a practice session at Ristuccia Arena, according to a statement relased by the team.

David Krejci left the ice a little early after one drill. He seemed to be favoring his left side. After practice, head coach Claude Julien said he had no more information on Krejci and would only classify the injury as a “body” injury. Julien said there was a chance Krejci would not travel with the team when the Bruins leave this afternoon for a two-game road trip that starts in Raleigh.
Krejci has a goal through the team's first three games, perhaps this injury was effecting his effectiveness in the offensive end. Expect further updates on this top liner.

Line Change
Last season, Bergeron compiled a 22-35-57 line and looks to continue his dominance of the face-off circle. He also wants to continue to grow as a leader, especially after the B’s lost veteran Mark Recchi.
Following a Cup victory, Bergeron is now a leader and the clubhouse. The second line center scored 22 goals and 57 points through 80 games and should be expected to at least replicate those totals. In deeper leagues, look for Bergeron to be quite useful, especially if your league counts faceoff wins.

Rask remains one of the elite handcuffs in the League. If you take Tim Thomas in the early rounds, it only makes sense to give yourself a contingency plan and take the 24-year-old in a later round.
* Rask, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee after the season, said he was sidelined for approximately 4-5 weeks. Rask since has resumed workouts and might be getting on the ice next week. He said he’ll be ready for the start of camp.
