The Cheat Sheet: February 17th, 2011

Gather around hockey fans and devoted gamblers, it’s time for our daily meeting before we go off and make some potentially regrettable decisions with our money. Today on the docket: 7 games, sorted into Gold picks, Silver Picks, Bronze Picks, and black lumps of coal.

– Before anybody goes crazy on this Gold Pick, just keep in mind that it takes a few games for the system to make adjustments for injured players and roster changes, and Vancouver’s list of injuries is pretty significant.  If you’re not too worried about counting on Yann Sauve and Christopher Tanev at the backend (or Christian Ehrhoff having to play massive minutes) , then go for it.

– Montreal’s defense is a bit banged-up as well. Similar situation.

– Yup… nothing really stands out to me today… Anybody got anything?
