The Cheat Sheet: November 29th, 2010

If you’re looking over the NHL betting board and want an unbiased second opinion, then scroll on down to the Cheat Sheet. A very busy computer crunched a bunch of numbers from this season and the last to produce a summary of the day’s available bets. Do the numbers match with your opinions, or do they throw your predictions for a loop?

Why not find out?

Monday’s Cheat Sheet: (goalies updated 2:00 PM ET)

An opinion or two:

– All right, Edmonton is always likely to get outshot by about a 40 – 25 margin, so don’t be shocked if they get owned in this game. Ottawa, on the other hand, will be the less rested team here, so there could be some value with the dog here.

– Minnesota has owned Calgary as of late, and a 5-game eastern road trip won’t do the home team any favors. Both teams will probably be a bit tired, but I’ll side with the less-travelled team that is also getting +130 on the moneyline. The line seems to be moving with the announcement of Jose Theodore as the starter, but give the guy some credit–he’s played well lately.

– Totals today–not really liking anything.
