One injury that we always have troubling judging can be the dastardly foot injury, as we witnessed with the recent retirement of Peter Forsberg. Ian Walker of The Vancouver Sun takes a look at foot injuries, from contusions to skate problems.

Kent Wilson of Houses of the Hockey discusses chemistry on a team. In fantasy hockey we use chemistry as an excuse or a reason to pick up or drop players all the time. However, his unique look at the concept truly will help both fantasy GMs and bettors alike. Similarly, Peter Stastny found that the recent trade of Chris Stewart and Kevin Shattenkirk from the Colorado Avalanche destroyed their chemistry.

Jason Gregor of the Nation websites goes into detail from the 1996 NHL Entry Draft to 2005. To summarize, 8.8 percent of first round picks turn into dominant players, which says a good amount about modern drafting.
