The Vegas Golden Knights have made a splash on deadline day acquiring Mattias Jamark from Chicago.

According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, Vegas is surrendering a second round pick this year, and next year’s 3rd round pick. The Golden Knights also acquired a 2022 fifth round pick.

There’s reports a third-team, the San Jose Sharks, are involved to help with salary. Janmark is a UFA at the end of the season and carries a cap hit of $2.25-million.

Janmark, 28, has appeared in 41 games with Chicago this year scoring 10 goals and 19 points. According to hockeyviz.com, at even-strength Janmark provides offence and defence at a one percent rate below league average.
