Jackman missed Tuesday’s game vs. Tampa Bay, but he will get back into the lineup tonight vs. the Ducks. Jackman has no points and a plus-3 rating in five games this season.
Jackman missed Tuesday’s game vs. the Lightning with an upper-body injury, but he was a regular participant in Wednesday’s practice which means that he could be back in the lineup on Thursday.
Jackman's injury is not believed to be serious, but will keep him out of the lineup tonight. With Jordan Leopold returning after an 18-game absence, the Blues are likely playing it safe with their rugged defenseman. He could be back by Saturday.

The Blues still have not decided whether they will use Jackman tomorrow night against the Wild. Although he does not fill the net, his crease-clearing presence certainly makes a difference in keeping pucks out of the net.
No longer a young-stud defenseman, Jackman will turn to a mentorship role as the longest tenured member of the Blues. Last season the savvy veteran posted 13 assists in 60 games as he battled through injuries. His guidance on the ice will help Carlo Colaiacovo, Kevin Shattenkirk and Alex Pietrangelo but not your fantasy hockey team.
