The Canadiens have recalled Drayson Bowman from Hamilton (AHL).
Bowman, 25, has two goals and four assists in 11 games with Hamilton. This is his first season in the Habs organization, he had been with the Hurricanes since 2009-10. He has been recalled to fill-in for the injured Michael Bournival.
Bowman is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Bowman did not practice this morning but could be available for the Hurricanes' contest on Saturday. He is not fantasy relevant, he averages just over 10 minutes a game and has just seven points (3G / 4A) in 42 games.

Bowman heads back to the AHL to help the Checkers on their playoff run. He scored six goals and 13 points in 37 games.

Expect Bowman to get another look on the team's second line. He has two goals and six points in 17 games.

Drayson Bowman, who is an emergency recall from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), was used today on Brandon Sutter's left wing opposite Chad LaRose. But Muller said not to read too much into it or assume Bowman would get significant ice time.
Despite lining up on the third line this morning, it doesn't sound like Bowman will be given much of a chance. The checking forward has eight goals and 14 points in 23 games with the Charlotte Checkers.
