The Vancouver Canucks have signed Cole Cassels to an entry-level contract.
Cassels was originally selected by Vancouver 85th overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He follows in the footsteps of his father Andrew, who signed with Vancouver July 13, 1999. He ranks fourth in scoring on the OHL Oshawa Generals with 28 points (12G / 16A) through 24 games played. The 6’0” centreman has recorded eight power play goals to share the team lead in power play goals.
