AV says no Salo tonight and Rome will slot into the line-up in his spot alongside Edler.

Rome draws back into the lineup after a brief stint on the sidelines. Prior to getting hurt, he was quite useful in fantasy hockey with three goals, five points and 21 PIM in seven games. He likely slots right back onto the power play.

Rome's hand not broken but can't grip stick. Will see how he feels tomorrow.

Rome looks day-to-day with a hand injury and certainly questionable for tonight's game. The depth defender has been a pleasant fantasy hockey surprise with three goals and five points over seven games with 21 PIM. Expect a further update before puck drop.

Coach Vigneault said Rome (hand) was close on Friday and would go on upcoming trip.

The Canucks have rotated their seventh defensive slot with Alexander Sulzer and Andrew Alberts over the last few games. Rome figures to move somewhere into that rotation, perhaps even playing for Keith Ballard. Stay tuned for a further word on his status.
