The Flyers signed Dvorak to a five-year contract extension on Monday worth $5.15M AAV.

The extension marks a major pay day for Dvorak, who signed with the Flyers on a one-year deal this off-season. Long thought of as a defensive specialist, the two-way centre is on pace to fly past his previous career high in points of 38, racking up nine goals and 16 assists in 39 games this season. The five-year deal ties down the 29-year-old Dvorak through the 2030-31 season.
