The Bruins have signed Craig Smith to a three-year deal worth $9.3 million ($3.1M AAV).
Smith has provided great secondary scoring throughout his career in Nashville and will fill a similar third-line role in Boston. Smith was on-pace for 21 goals before the 2020 season was cut short. It would have been sixth time in seven years that Smith broke the 20-goal barrier. He has a solid floor but limited upside. Expect him to finish 2021 around 20 goals and 20 assists.
